About C²ATA

What is C²ATA‘s Goal?

Our school is designed to re-engage at-risk and credit-deficient high school students by combining a flexible hybrid instructional model with strong academic monitoring, individualized supports, and clear post-secondary pathways tied to Nevada’s workforce needs.  One of our many goals is to focus on those students who are disengaged from the traditional school setting, which is causing them to be at-risk of not graduating.

Upon registration, we will create an individualized graduation plan that includes credit recovery options and structured academic coaching. Dedicated counselors will monitor progress weekly and coordinate targeted supports such as working one-on-one with their teachers in the lab, working with our interventionists, and possible social-emotional interventions.

To prevent dropout and increase relevance, the academic program will integrate career and technical education pathways aligned to Nevada’s workforce priorities, with opportunities for dual credit, industry-recognized credentials, and partnerships with local colleges and employers. Students will graduate with a clear post-secondary plan, whether that includes an associate’s degree, technical certification, military service, or direct entry into high-wage, in-demand careers.

By offering a personalized, career-connected, and flexible learning environment grounded in research and community input, the school will keep students on track to graduate and prepared for long-term economic success.
